GRS has entered the concrete products market in the South East of England with the opening of a block making facility in Essex.
Complementing the existing concrete blocks business operated by Cornish subsidiary Maen Karne, the new site now gives GRS coverage across southern England, allow it to supply building blocks into London, Home Counties, East Anglia, M4 Corridor and the South West.
The GRS solid dense 100mm 7.3N concrete block is one of the most versatile of all building products, suitable for every building application above and below ground, including cavity and solid walls, load-bearing and solid partitioning, and in block-and-beam flooring. GRS blocks are water and fire resistant, and give great sound insulation as well as contributing to a building's thermal mass as part of an overall low-energy design.
